Fashion Show!

I posted a while ago pics of the fabric i said i was going to use.
After a million years of preparation and stress i decided to change it all up.
The theme of the show was to use recycled clothes and make something new out of it, i was thinking of doing something totally different.
Then finally i came to my senses and got started using different fabrics i could find from different places and using them for something totally different for what they were intended for.

These are some pics my models took backstage:

This was the first model that walked out, but since i didnt get to take the pics the only pic i got of him is this one when we are all walking out and I'm behind the models:

This was on the back of the vest:

I actually used some blanket i got from my job that was on clearance to make the vest and i bought the stuff to make the shoelace holes in the first. The shirt was actually white died yellow and the tie was made bye me using some fabric i bought!

This was the second model which i found his design to be the best looking and the most fun to make:

I actually used 2 pair of slacks size 50(lmfao) and made the whole top and scarf with the fabric and i still had plenty to spair! And the pants were some pajama pants i found that i actually slimmed down and for the top i made the shoe lace holes on the sides!

The third model didnt have any pics taken of him due to the person i let borrow my camera not really knowing how to use it. But if you look at the previous pics he's the one with the hood/scarf with the white t-shirt.
His Design was made with an old hoody that i cut the hood off of, and i used some old pants and used the legs as the scarf!

The last model actually got to be on tv about a week ago with my design on which was pretty amazing, his design was made of a blanket as the first model had but different color. His shirt was bleached and i added the patch on it and the pants were died purple and i added some bleach streaks and i did the patch on it too.

And the back of the vest was made with a whole bunch of material stitched together like a quilt:

Ooooopsssss there i go!!

For the show 80 percent of the clothing had to be reconstructed from something else or used old and altered to new. All pants were slimmed down for better fitting.

That was the show!
It was amazing and i got alot of compliments (felt weird having random people come up to me!)
It was packed in there, too.
Alot of people went!

ENJOY!!!
PEACE!
P.S. My models walked to Kanye West's Diamonds!!!

The Fashion Show!!

Well as I write this I am behind the curtains of the club we got rented for the day, which is called Dolce Ulta Loung, and I'm waiting on my models to arrive.
Everyone is getting their stuff together and the models are getting their hair and make up done.
I'm extremely nervouse for this being my first show and I really hope I get the oppurtunity to do more in the future.
Wish me luck and I will post the pics my friends take( since I'm gonna always be behind the curtains.
Peace!!!!

The "GAY" Stereotype in fashion...

During work today i decided to go on my phone and look up certain things while i was on break and i came across some article which i know alot off you are familiar with.
It has to do with Kanye West moving to London on that internship he's doing to pursue his love for fashion.
Under the article people left comments which to me i found offensive not only because i feel as if Kanye is a great artist, but for the fact that people were talking about him coming out the closet and shit about him being gay.
The offence i took was for the fact that people have created a stereotype about all fashion designers are gay.
And thats something i can relate to 'cause people automatically think i am gay becuase i choose to use my artistic ability into another direction and i know how to use a sewing machine.
So because a guy decides he likes clothing and is into style and creating he's automatically gay?
But all you fags that claim to be fly and all that shit aint gay but ya'll care just as much about your appearance as the person that makes the whack shit you got on. But a guy can pluck his eybrows and look girly but not be labeled gay but once a masculine dude touches a sewing machine he's labeled right away.
The whole point was to show that just 'cause Kanye is choosing to take his creativity else wear doesn't make him gay. Also, just 'cause a guy likes to design clothes doesn't make him gay neither.

More thoughts:
So from what i have come to conclude, Fashion is only for chicks and gays right?
So only a person with a feminine touch or point of view can dress others and use a sewing machine, right?
Fuck the world!!!

-this post probably was shitty but whatever my thoughts my opinion.
Fuck YOU!
